Eligibility & Account Requirements
Minimum Age Requirements
Coeliapp allows users to browse the Application without creating an account.
If you wish to create an account or interact with the Service (including submitting reviews, posting content, commenting, or participating in community features), the following eligibility requirements apply:
Australia: If you are based in Australia, you must be at least 16 years old to create or hold an account on Coeliapp.
Other countries: Minimum age requirements may vary depending on your jurisdiction.
During account creation or onboarding, we may ask you to confirm your country of residence and, where required (including for Australian users), to confirm that you meet the applicable minimum age requirement.
By creating an account or interacting with the Service, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you meet the relevant eligibility requirements.
If we become aware that an account is held by a person who does not meet the applicable minimum age requirement, we may suspend or terminate that account.

The information contained on the Service is for general information purposes only.
The Company assumes no responsibility for errors or omissions in the contents of the Service.

Online activity & analytics
The CoeliappTM website and mobile application may use analytics tools (including Google Analytics and Firebase Analytics) to help us understand how users interact with the Service so we can improve functionality and user experience.

app usage events;
approximate location information (such as country or city), which may be derived from technical signals like IP address or device settings.
We do not use analytics tools to identify individual users by name, and we do not intentionally collect precise location data through analytics.

CoeliappTM website and mobile application may contain links to websites operated by third parties. If you access a third party website through our website or mobile application, personal information may be collected by that third party website. We make no representations or warranties in relation to the privacy practices of any third party provider or website and we are not responsible for the privacy policies or the content of any third party provider or website. Third party providers / websites are responsible for informing you about their own privacy practices and we encourage you to read their privacy policies.
SMS Communications & Marketing Terms
Consent to Receive SMS Messages
By providing your mobile phone number through our website, forms, events, or subscription tools (including third-party platforms such as Mailchimp), you consent to receiving SMS (text message) communications from CoeliappTM, including service-related messages, updates, reminders, promotions, offers, event information, and other marketing or informational content.
Consent may be obtained when you:
subscribe via a Coeliapp form or landing page;
opt in through a third-party marketing platform used by CoeliappTM (such as Mailchimp);
enter a competition, promotion, or giveaway;
attend a Coeliapp event and choose to receive SMS communications.
Providing consent to receive SMS messages is optional and is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services.
Use of Third-Party SMS Platforms
CoeliappTM uses third-party marketing platforms (including Mailchimp) to manage and send SMS communications. When you provide your mobile phone number, it is collected, stored, and processed by those platforms in accordance with their own privacy policies and security practices.
CoeliappTM does not independently store or manage SMS subscriber phone numbers outside of these third-party platforms, except where required for lawful, operational, or compliance purposes.
Purpose of SMS Communications
SMS messages sent by CoeliappTM may include:
service or account-related notifications;
app updates or feature announcements;
educational, community, or wellbeing information;
marketing communications, promotions, giveaways, or event invitations;
partner or brand-related content that is relevant to gluten-free or coeliac living.
Message Frequency & Costs
Message frequency may vary depending on your engagement with CoeliappTM and your communication preferences.
Standard message and data rates may apply based on your mobile service provider. CoeliappTM is not responsible for any charges incurred by receiving SMS messages.
Opt-Out & Unsubscribing
You may opt out of receiving SMS messages at any time by:
replying STOP to any SMS message you receive; or
using the unsubscribe options provided within the message; or
contacting us at contact@coeliapp.app.
Once you opt out, you will no longer receive SMS marketing messages from CoeliappTM. You may still receive essential service-related or administrative messages where permitted by law.

Privacy & Data Protection
Your mobile phone number and SMS-related data are handled in accordance with this Privacy Policy. CoeliappTM does not sell or rent your phone number to third parties for their own marketing purposes.
Where SMS services are provided through third-party platforms, those providers may process personal information on our behalf, including on servers located outside Australia or New Zealand. We take reasonable steps to ensure those providers comply with applicable privacy and data protection laws.
Compliance with Laws
CoeliappTM complies with all applicable laws governing electronic communications and direct marketing, including:
the Spam Act 2003 (Cth) (Australia);
the Unsolicited Electronic Messages Act 2007 (New Zealand);
relevant privacy and data protection legislation.
